Our History
As part of Rimbun Group, Rimbun Air is Fixed Wing Aviation Services Provider operating in Indonesia committed to contributing to the economic development of Indonesia by providing reliable flight services.
Established in 2017, we start the operations with DHC-6 aircraft focused on charter flights for passengers and cargo. Particularly in the remote areas of Papua.
In 2021, we expands our fleet with Boeing 737-300 aircraft, provide air freighter routes to Makassar, Kendari, and Pontianak.
At the beginning of 2022, the addition of another Boeing 737-300 allowed us to spread our wings for serve routes to Banjarmasin and Balikpapan.
By the end of 2022, we further developed our services with Boeing 737-800, launching new routes to Pekanbaru, Batam, Palu, Gorontalo, and Manado.
In 2023, we added two more Boeing 737-300 aircraft and expands our services to Jayapura and Wamena.
Rimbun Air is dedicated to be the best air transport solution for oil industry, government subsidies, cargo operations, and spot charter services.
With our Boeing 737 Freighter and DHC 6 - 400 Twin Otter fleet, we offer our customers the capability of reaching most commute and rural areas across the archipelago.
